Congratulations to Elena Robles who will be one of 11 women competing on the Golf Channel's Big Break. The season of golf skills, beauty and brains premieres on the Golf Channel Monday, June 21 at 9 p.m. ET.

The Golf Channel’s Big Break is in its 13th season and will be played at the Sandals Emerald Bay in Great Exuma, Bahamas. It features an all-female cast competing for an exemption to compete in an LPGA Tour event and a Ladies European Tour event.

Nine of the women competing play on the Duramed FUTURES Tour. The mission of the Duramed FUTURES Tour is to prepare the world's best young women professional golfers for a successful career on the LPGA Tour. Kristy McPherson and several previous female contestants have gone on to compete on the LPGA Tour.

Elena is playing her rookie year on the Duramed FUTURES Tour and the Canadian tour. She also played in the HealthOne Colorado Women’s Open and US Women’s open qualifying. She is planning to play in the 2010 LPGA Qualifying School.

Elena Robles graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in Criminal Justice.
